The “Çiyayê Kurmênc” project was implemented by Bader Organization for Community Development with the support of the Civil Society Center. It included a number of important activities, such as focused discussions and training workshops in advocacy and digital advocacy aimed at enhancing awareness and community participation.
A digital advocacy campaign was launched under the title “Here is Afrin, Here is Mount Kurds… No to Demographic Change,” focusing on the risks facing the Afrin region, including forced displacement and alteration of the demographic composition. The campaign seeks to highlight the importance of protecting the identity of the area and the rights of its original inhabitants.
These activities come at a time when Afrin is facing significant challenges regarding its demographic and cultural existence, necessitating a concerted effort from both local and international communities to achieve safety and stability.
